At Eima 2022, Maschio Gaspardo presents the Primo fertilizer spreader in all its versions, including the new EWH version.
PRIMO is MASCHIO GASPARDO ‘s top model in the fertilizer range, able to ensure high precision distribution and high performance thanks to a maximum flow rate of 640 kg/min. Thanks to the work of MASCHIO GASPARDO’s Research and Development Department, one of the most innovative, intelligent and precise fertilizer spreaders on the market has been achieved.
Precision farming
PRIMO EW ISOTRONIC is the version equipped with a continuous load cell weighing system. This allows for DPAE speed proportional metering, ISOBUS communication protocol and electronic delivery point adjustment for Section ControlPro.
The distribution system is the main part of the machine and consists of a rotary agitator mounted on bearings. The system transports the fertiliser to the adjustable delivery point without breaking it. The heart of the PRIMO project is the double shutter system. Both gates are controlled by an electric actuator. The first adjusts the dose of fertiliser to be distributed, the other adjusts the opening and closing of the material outlet (ON/OFF). The simultaneous and combined use of shutters maximises distribution accuracy in all parts of the field.
At the end of the line, the actuator reacts quickly and closes the ON/OFF shutter to avoid dispensing product where it is not needed. The DOSED shutter (below the first one) continues to move in proportion to the tractor speed; when the valve is restarted, the ON/OFF shutter is reopened in the correct position. This process ensures that there are no areas of over- or under-dosing. The distribution will be uniform over the entire land area, without waste or inefficiency.
High level of performance
The fertiliser drop-point section has a special three-lobed shape to ensure even distribution even with very small volumes. You can anticipate or postpone the point of delivery of the fertiliser to the disc in order to optimise the quality of distribution.
ISOBUS software software, allows the operator to adjust all the high precision settings to achieve high quality distribution patterns. Variable rate fertiliser (VR) and 4+4 section control (SC). A very important accessory (available on request) for fertilisation is the field edge limiter kit. It is specially designed to optimise distribution at field edges and headlands, ensuring correct distribution to all parts of the field (patented system).
