Mecalac has announced the launch of the TLB880, which completes its backhoe loader offering. This model is a perfect fit for small businesses, local authorities and rental companies, standing out for its power, efficiency, performance.

It is powered by a Perkins 904 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine, TLB880, which meets European Stage V standards. The engine delivers 74.5 kW (100 hp) and 430 Nm of torque.

The backhoe loader is equipped with a four-speed synchronised transmission (Synchro Shuttle), or a powershift transmission (Servo Power Synchro). The new Mecalac TLB880 easily and effortlessly reaches a top speed of 40 km/h.

The TLB880 has a hydraulic circuit with a maximum flow of 143 L/min and a working pressure of 250 bar. This new model stands out for its outstanding digging performance. With a reach of up to 7 metres thanks to the optional telescopic arm (5.7 m standard arm), a digging depth of up to 5.7 m (4.4 m standard arm) and considerable breakout forces of up to 69 kN as a loader and 42 kN as an excavator.

All this ensures maximum efficiency of the machine and makes it perfectly suited for a variety of jobs.

For example:

  • Civil engineering works;
  • road maintenance;
  • utilities and agriculture.

Working easily especially as a front loader, the new Mecalac TLB880 benefits, like the manufacturer’s other models, from a specific kinematic mechanism that allows lifting loads of up to 3700 kg, integrating a single central cylinder that optimises the efforts on the bucket and reduces the points subject to maintenance.

As usual, Mecalac places safety and comfort at the heart of its new developments. In addition to the ROPS/FOPS ISO 3471/3449 compliant cab, the TLB880 features a manufacturer-specific double excavator hitch system to enhance safety during transport.

Behind the wheel or at the controls, the operator has exceptional visibility for both excavator and loader use. The 8 standard LED work lights ensure optimal working conditions at any time of the day.

Maintenance is facilitated by the fully opening engine hood, which provides easy access to the various components. Tools are handy in a closed toolbox on the side of the machine.

The new Mecalac TLB880 also offers a wide range of standard and optional equipment, such as different types of attachments, buckets, pallet lifting forks or a wide range of tyres.
