Hyundai A mini excavators

Hyundai Construction Equipment will update its entire mini-excavator offering with the launch of a full range of Stage V machines.

With operating weights ranging from 1.7 to 5.5 tonnes, the A-series mini excavators will take centre stage at the Bauma in Munich (24-30 October).

Features
  • Winner of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for the “Tiger Eyes” design and new colour scheme.
  • New hydraulic system for all models over 4 tonnes with a variable flow hydraulic pump.
  • All models are fitted with proportional joystick controls as standard, along with quick coupling hoses and safety valves on the hydraulic cylinders.
  • The tilted cab on 3.5-5.5 tonne models provides easy access for maintenance operations.
A complete range

The design focuses on the tiger-eye backlighting theme, but the excavators have also won awards for their eco-friendly and user-friendly features. All Hyundai mini excavators now benefit from an EU Stage V diesel engine, which reduces emissions and lowers fuel consumption.

The revised colour scheme includes a grey front mask, in line with Hyundai’s heavier excavators and wheel loaders. At the back, the lines are aggressive but elegant.

All models with operating weights over 4 tonnes feature a revised hydraulic system integrating load-sensing controls and a Bosch-Rexroth pump. Load-independent movement of hydraulic functions facilitates multiple operations and increases productivity.

To enhance safety in operation, mini excavators are supplied with safety valves on the hydraulic cylinders of the arm, the rocker arm and the dozer blade. They can also be equipped with optional quick coupling hoses. The undercarriages and extendable blades on the HX17A and HX19A provide greater stability in heavy digging and lifting operations.

Long and short digging arms are available, along with heavier counterweights for some models. A rear camera can also be chosen as an option for excavators over 4 tonnes. Six of the eight new models will be presented at Bauma.
