It makes a lot of sense to choose a pickaxe adapted to your needs. Demolition requires a hammer with greater penetrating power and impact rate. On the other hand, if you work in mining, you’ll need a bigger hammer with a slower speed.

In terms of size, there is no universal standard. However, you must consider the weight ratio, piston/chisel diameter and impact energy level. For example, larger tools and chisels have a slower frequency but are more powerful, making them better suited to larger excavators.
