Plow Vari Flex CX 41080 F from the Swedish manufacturer Överum, part of the Danish company Kongskilde specialising in soil tillage solutions, is a four-row furrow plough equipped with a universal coulter with a base width of 66 cm.
The plough has a 150 mm × 100 mm × 8 mm frame, on which the 4 furrows fit. Equipped with a rear depth wheel with a total weight of 1,100 kg.
The Overum Vârî Flex CX reversible worn plugs are part of the medium class. Tractors up to 160 hp can be coupled. The range comprises three, four or five-row ploughs with hydraulic (H) stone reaction system or shear bolts (F).
The working width can be adjusted hydraulically between 30 and 50 cm. The swivel axle of the trowel is located within the plough, which minimises the forces required to adjust the working width and wear on the bearings.
The hydraulic working width adjustment system can be supplemented by a hydraulic working width control system of the first body.
With these two working width control systems, the plough can be adapted to different working conditions . So that the quality of the ploughing carried out corresponds to all possible soil types. By making the furrows wider, less consumption is obtained in relation to the yield obtained.
The swivelling axle of the trowels is fitted with replaceable bushes and can be greased. Greasing will reduce the forces required to adjust the working width of the trowel. It will protect the components from the effects of water and dust.
