Landini Rex 4-120 GT RoboShift Dynamic

With the Landini Rex4 120 GT Roboshift Dynamic, Argo Tractors has raised the bar for specialised tractors for vineyards and orchards. The key feature is the RoboShift transmission, which boasts an electro-actuated robotic system that operates all three gears under load as well as the four basic gears.

This is complemented by the APS – Auto Power Shift – function for automatic shifting of gears with adjustable feedback. The SmartPilot multi-function joystick simultaneously controls the transmission, PTO coupling, engine speed and electro-hydraulic distributor.

Compact, robust and versatile, the McCormick X5.120 P3-Drive is the ideal utility tractor for everyday farm use. With 114 horsepower and a 3.6-litre FTP F36 Stage V 4-cylinder engine. It has an unladen weight of 4,000 kilograms, with a maximum permissible load of up to 7,000 kilograms. The automated powershift transmission allows automatic shifting of up to 12 gears. Both on and off-road, controlled by the ergonomic SmartPilot joystick.

In the main category “Tractor of the Year” (TOTY), the winner of the 25th edition, supported by BKT, is the Claas XERION 12.650 TERRA TRAC.

Claas XERION 12.650 TERRA TRAC

Claas Xerion 12.650 Terra Trac is the winner of the Tractor of the Year 2024. It is the world’s most powerful continuously variable transmission tractor with 653 horsepower (Mercedes-Benz OM473 engine). The design retains the 50/50 distribution on the two steering axles, a unique feature of Xerion tractors. This innovative design reduces soil compaction and increases traction thanks to four tracks.

In the TOTY category “Sustainable”, the Tractor of the year 2024 is FENDT e107 Vario.

FENDT e107 Vario

The Fendt e107 Vario is the market’s first all-electric specialist tractor with over 60 horsepower. It has a battery capacity of 100 kWh. This translates into an estimated battery life of around 4-7 hours. But for part-load applications such as mowing or road cleaning.

With zero emissions, the e107 V Vario has the same dimensions as conventional tractors. This allows farmers to continue to use existing equipment.
