Yokohama Off-Highway Tires’ (YOHT) flagship brand, Alliance, recently unveiled new sizes of its Agriflex+ 372 radial tractor and combine tire, including a size that makes it the largest tire Alliance has ever produced.
The VF750/75R46 size is designed for the largest category of tractors and machinery and competes with competitive tyres in terms of price and quality. VF tyres are recognised as leaders in the world market for floating radial tyres: Alliance VF technology guarantees effective ground protection, greater efficiency and increased performance.

The success of the Alliance Agriflex+ 372 tyre is confirmed by a scientific field test conducted by Seges Innovation in 2021. The results of the field studies revealed the positive effects of Alliance VF tyres compared to conventional tyres. Tested on a tractor-trailer combination, the low inflation pressure of Agriflex+372 and Agriflex+389 tyres halved tyre depth during fertiliser application.
At the same time, wheel slip was reduced by 4.4% and measurements with a penetrometer showed less soil compaction in ‘VF tyre tracks’ at a depth of 0 to 40cm.
Maize production in ‘VF-tyred plots’ was higher than in ‘conventional-tyred plots’ by about 12.9 crop units per hectare, or about 10%.
These results translate into yield increases of between 1.5 and 2.2 percent per hectare and calculated gains due to higher yields and reduced tyre slippage of up to almost EUR 80 per hectare.
